Mohammed Al-Suwayed is the CEO of Razeen Capital, a financial securities consultancy firm which he founded in January 2021.
He is also a board member of the Engineers Localization Association, and an investment committee member of the Sanad Charitable Association.
He has also been a columnist for the Al-Riyadh newspaper since November 2003.
Al-Suwayed attained his bachelor’s degree in business administration from King Saud University in Riyadh, in December 1998. He went on to earn his MBA in finance and corporate strategy from Bryant University, Smithfield, Rhode Island in December 2012.
Prior to his current position at Razeen Capital, he was an associate fellow at the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies between June 2019 and December 2019.
He also worked at the Ministry of Transport as the general manager of the Vision Realization Office between September 2017 and December 2018, and as an adviser at the Deputy Ministry for Strategic Planning and a member of VRO between November 2016 and September 2017.
Between August and October 2017, Al-Suwayed worked with the Ministry of Health as a road traffic safety lab facilitator. He led strategy and public policy planning, including legislating for the National Traffic Safety plan within the National Transformation Program of Vision 2030, with the assistance of several Saudi officials.
Between May 2015 and November 2016, he served as the head of the capital and money market at Adeem Capital, where he was also acting investment operations manager between July 2015 and December 2015.
Between October 2014 and May 2015, Al-Suwayed was a strategic planning consultant at the Saudi Industrial Property Authority.
He was an investment and stocks trading instructor at SAC for Training in Riyadh between May 2004 and August 2010.
